Our Story
Our family’s boatbuilding legacy began in 1968, when Norm Riddle worked at Weldcraft, crafting sturdy vessels for the demanding log drives that once defined the region’s timber industry. In 1978, Doug Riddle continued the tradition by taking over Weldcraft and later founded Riddle Marine in the early 1990s. Now the third generation carries the torch with MotoJet.​
Since 2015, we've built our reputation one custom boat at a time, combining decades of inherited craftsmanship with cutting-edge design innovations. What started as a local operation has grown into an internationally recognized brand, yet we remain rooted in our Lewiston community.​
